Steve Heintz
President

Steve is a CPA who earned his accounting degree from Minnesota State Mankato and has been a practicing accountant for more than 15 years. He has passed the Series 65 exam, and is certified through the Global Financial Planning Institute.

As president of Heintz + Clark, he works with business owners, real estate investors, and expats on a wide variety of tax planning and accounting projects, ensuring our clients feel heard and supported. He’s served as CFO for many different businesses and nonprofits, so his depth of knowledge is unmatched. Steve and his wife have two sons, aged 11 and 3, and when he’s not collaborating with clients he can be found coaching his older son’s traveling baseball team or out on the golf course.

Aaron Clark
Vice President

A graduate of Augustana University, Aaron is an accomplished accountant with nearly 15 years of experience who is working towards his CPA. He combines his own business acumen with a wicked sense of humor to support the firm’s clients in making informed tax, cashflow, and operations decisions. In fact, Aaron excels at anything related to business strategy. As one of the firm’s co-founders, he is proud of the skilled team and welcoming work culture he’s helped to build.

Aaron and his fiancée, Raquel, are raising two daughters Vida (12), Blakeley (3), as well as a brand new pair of identical twin boys Ari and Leo! Outside of the office, he’s a self-confessed baseball nerd who plays for an amateur team that he also manages. His whole family loves Valley Fair, and he can’t wait to introduce the twins to the thrills of the rollercoasters.

Adam Wood
Project Manager

Our resident organizational genius and deadline-enforcer, Adam is a former U.S. Army Intelligence Analyst with an amazing eye for detail. He helps keep our bookkeeping and payroll staff on-task, manages client interactions, and oversees most of our large projects to completion. Adam is in his element working on complex projects, and truly enjoys seeing a good plan come together. He loves the culture at Heintz + Clark because he gets to work in a professional setting that does stellar work without having to endure a stuffy corporate environment.
Adam and his wife, Madison, have two daughters: Cameryn (2) and Evelyn (1). When he’s not at work, he’s usually golfing or puttering around in his yard.
